Sambucus pubens

Commonly known as red elderberry, is a fast-growing deciduous shrub native to North America. It produces clusters of creamy white flowers in spring, followed by bright red berries that are a valuable food source for wildlife. With its pinnately compound leaves and dense form, it thrives in moist, well-drained soils and is often found along woodland edges and streams. Red elderberry adds ecological value and seasonal interest to naturalized landscapes.
