Ceanothus americanus
New Jersey tea is a small deciduous shrub native to North America. Its fragrant, showy white flowers often attract hummingbirds and pollinators, making it a great choice for a native planting or rain garden. Well-adapted to rocky soils and drought, New Jersey tea is highly-effective as a shrubby ground cover for hard-to-grow areas such as dry rocky slopes and banks.
Origin: Native to Michigan
